Who We Are

Hudson Valley Youth Rugby Inc. was formed in 2007 by members of the Hudson Valley Rugby Football Club to bring the unique and exciting sport of rugby to the young people of the Hudson Valley area. By working with local municipalities, recreation departments and schools, we have become an established and rapidly growing youth program dedicated to building more capable and confident young people. 

Board of Directors

Chris Soi is a resident of Beacon and is the lead recreation supervisor in the Village of Briarcliff Manor. He is currently playing for the men's senior team and has over 10 years of rugby experience.

Chris Ray is active in the Beacon community and serves as our liaison to the various municipal departments, as well as oversees the organization’s fundraising efforts. He is also a member of the Beacon Business Association.

Justin Brown has been involved in youth athletic organizations going back to 1998 when he introduced rugby in an after school AmeriCorps and YMCA program. He is a USA Rugby Certified Coach and Referee.
